Like Troy said, it's Almost Always a vacuum leak with these cars. Use a can of starting fluid to spritz all the suspected areas. Idle goes up- Wella!! If you are positive there are no leaks, maybe the O2 sensor is tired. When they go bad they get slow & make the computer think there is a lean condition. Then the computer tries to compensate, then the O2 sensor finally wakes up, then the computer turns down the gas again. Nasty cycle. More than likely a vacuum leak somewhere though.
: If the engine runs well under full-throttle, it is most likely a vacuum leak. When your right foot is all the way down, the WOT (Wide Open Throttle) switch is closed. This allows the injection computer (ECU) to go to a "full rich" mixture for maximum power. So if part-throttle acceleration causes a miss and full-throttle doesn't, it usually means the mixture is too lean except at full-throttle.
: You need to thoroughly investigate vacuum leaks: hoses, brake booster, etc.
