: howdo folks
: I have been looking for a front airdam, and a larger, adjustable rear swaybar for my e12 for years now (well maybe more like one year), with no luck
Here's another idea for the sway bar--get another stock bar from a junkyard and strap it to the original bar. Did that once with a Renault and it worked like a champ.
For my car, I followed the advice of Jim Rowe at Metric Mechanic who said that bacause of the front caster on BMWs, they can use a huge front sway bar and don't need a larger rear bar. I presently have the MM front bar (plus original stock bar), stock rear bar, and cut a coil out of all four springs. Car feels well balanced at drivers' school -- no big push.
Wish you luck.
