I have a 1981 528i. I love this car. It is an
automatic and the automatic transmission is starting
to go. It stays in 1st gear longer and longer in the
morning - sometimes up to a mile before it shifts. I
much prefer a standard transmission and have found one
in a 1983 528e. It is a 5-speed. I would like to know
if this transmission will fit into my 1981 528i and what
other parts I may need as the clutch pedal, clutch
istself are available on this 1983 528e. Thank you.
