A while back I posted a help wanter dead tach post. Several other members have the same problem. My solution turned out to be the coil. The engine ran perfectly but the tach pooped out at around 4000 rpm. With a new Bosh red coli the problem has gone away. The tach trigger is in the egnition module. If this has not helped or you don't care to spend the money check the coli.
