I just got a set of e34 (535) rims the basket weave (bbs) put dunlap d40m2 225/50/15 (these rims look a lot better than the boring 30 spoke that come on the e34 525) I am actually running these(the e34 535 bbs) on my e28 535is (I put the e28 390 rims on the 528i these look ok but not great) I have even seen e34 m5 and 540 17inch rims on a e12 (check out the green e12 club racer) I know for a fact that the E34 bbs rims will fit the e12 car but I am not sure how large of a tire you can put up front. I do know that E30 m3 rims will fit the e12 cars. My old black 528 had them ( These rims are to inset to work well your tire size is extremly limited the e34 BBs fit much better) BUT IF YOU GOT THE CAKE GO FOR THE ALPINAS THESE ARE THE KING. Troy is quite lucky to have them.Those are my favorites ( Yeah those are Alpina on that M535i) ( That M535i was featured in european car in july 1993
