Well, since noone else has respoonded I'll give it a shot. I don't have much experience though. I recently replaced my wires with the stock wires. There are places to get the "high performance" ones though. MESA and Bavarian both have them. MESA even offers them in different colors - and they are not that expensive either. As far as the potential benefits, I'm not really sure how much they can do for you, but it probably wouldn't hurt.
