Has anyone tried the new short shift kit from UUC Motorwerks? They have a very informative web page that explains the mechanics behind the "short shift" principle. It also has comparisons with the other popular brands. It seems pretty affordable. They seem to know what they are talking about. Any experiences? They are offering a promotion right now for pre 1986 BMWs. The kit comes with the short shifter, ERK (Efffort reducing kit), and it replaces the sheet metal console of the car with a polyurethane one. Details on their web page.
