I know had a few local guys with TRX wheels itching
to ditch 'em. I just sold a set of aluminum wheels
to a guy with a 535i. He was looking at TRX tires
and was not impressed with selection, price or
quality. The last set of TRX tires he had, he told
me, were terrible. Noisy, poor traction, poor
tire lifespan, and EXPENSIVE!!! Needless to say,
he's ditching his TRX wheels.
You'll likely be much happier in the long run with
different wheels and the ability to actually choose
who makes your tires...
: I am one of the unfortunate few with TRX wheels. I have gone to the widest Michelins i could find (220-55-390), but I like to go one or two sizes wider. I like the wheels, and can't afford /don't want to switch wheels unless i have to. Now i have been told that the 220s are the widest trx tires. Is this true, or can i find something wider?
