What troubleshooting methods have you tried? You may want to try and bypass the switch to see if the problem is in the switch or the cable/motor mechanism....Also, checking the amp draw on the motor would verify that the motor was getting juice.
Mine seems to hang a bit, particularly when lifting into the tilt position. I just give it a little "help" with my free hand and that seems to do the trick. I have cleaned and greased the tracks on the top, and have adjusted the roof per the description in the Haynes manual. They call for the front edge to be slightly lower than the adjacent roof, and the trailing edge to be slightly higher than the adjacent roof. After cursing extensively, I got it adjusted exactly as they stated, and the thing would barely move. I adjusted back down to near flat and it was ok...
Tricky things, those sunroofs...
