Maybe this can narrow it down for you.
: a) Does it hold pressure?
I'm not too sure, but I think so, I need to check that out for sure. Is there an easy way to tell? (I took off the refil plug and depressed the plunger and some air escaped under pressure)
: b) Does interior A/c fan blow air?
YES
: c) If so, does the compressor clutch engage (engine slow slightly when the a/c is on)?
I believe so. With the belt off of the car, the pulley spun freely with the ac off. When I turned the ac on it did not spin freely. The engine speeds up a bit (at idle) like it is supposed to when you turn the ac on.
: d) If so, does the aux fan in the front turn?
YES
Anything else would be very helpful.
