I am putting L-jet with Lamda on a '77 530i.
I have spark at plugs, fuel, and engine cranks.
No injector pulse.
I was using 530i distrib with points and came
up with the same result. Have installed 528i
ignition box. Can advise per install -
pretty easy.
My questions:
1). How does ECU get "pulse" information?
(coil/ignition black box?)
2). Is there a consensus as how to attach
the black wire @ ECU? (terminal one).
What does it do? Does it need +12V:
constant, switched???
I have the Haynes manual but it is barely
adequate.
