I have two e-12 cars, and have Stress Bars on both of them
My 1978 530 has a Hartge bar, and the 1981 528I has a new
Stress Bar that I purchased from BMP. It's less expensive
and fits good. The only alteration necessary was to re-route the
hose for the Electric Idle Control( auxiliary air valve).
Use 8MM Stainless Acorn Nuts and the installation really
looks finished.
