Aren't new (old) additions fun ?
Just to see the color of thirty year old brake fluid. Look in the little holes of the TDC sensor to see cobwebs for baby spider bedrooms. All the different screw sizes on hose clamps, from Ace hardware to NAPA to the dealer. Five Champion Plugs, one NGK. Cool.
I got tricked by the old style screw slot thermostat bleeder bolt years ago. Not this time boy. I got the torch out right away. Put the liquid wrench on it a week ago. Grabbed that pup with the vice grips,...and spent twenty minutes hauling on it half a turn at a time.
But it came out. HA !
But the best so far is having to go to a breaker bar to loosen the bolt on the oil filter canister. How did they get the air gun set to 250 ft. lbs. down in there ? |
