I bought this car in august 2003. It was in an internet marketplace. I had planned to only look at the car because I have a '78 320/6 and and want to see a car of the same colour and age.
The sell wanted far to much money, so I forgot about the car. But, two weeks later he called and offered a better price.
In september, I went to Italy with the car for three months. I did a language school and the car was perfect for weekends. I drove all around Tuscany and even went down to Rome and Napoli. The car is good fun to drive with enough power still today. And, it has a big trunk to bring home wine and ham from Italy.
Here are the details: '78 528i with 81K kilometers, Topasbraun metallic (repainted), tinted glass, 4-speed manual transmission, limited slip differential, H&R springs with red Koni shocks, Blaupunkt Bamber stereo.
