We purchased the BMW 530i – 1977 one year ago from the original owner, which was a customer of my wife (she is a Service Advisor for a BMW Dealership in South Florida, USA) and wanted to sell it because of moving to NY. It was too expensive to keep it, because needed some fixing. My wife had service the car for the last five years and knew the excellent condition of the vehicle. The car had 16,500 original miles and has been garaged kept. The only problem is that due to the car not been driven too many miles a year it needed to be fix in some areas mechanically.
The only problem with the car was that the fuel injectors needed to be replaced and the original tires to be changed for new ones. I also changed the fuel-sending unit, which we had to order the original to BMW Germany and had to refurbish the gas tank that had some rust. We did a detailing clean up and touch up paint underneath to have it in a spotless condition, as you can see in the photos.
The car is now in excellent driving condition and we hope to keep it for a long time to enjoy it. We are a BMW lover. We have a 335 I - 2009 and had four other BMW’s in the past.-- Francisco Santiago Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
