There are cool E12s everywhere, even in Hungary where Zoltan Balassa lives. His car started out as a 1977 528. As you can see from the pictures, he has completely stripped and rebuilt the car.
It has a 220 bhp 3.0L engine with a Solex 4A1 carburetor, a Getrag 265/5 close-ratio 5-speed gearbox, and racing disc brakes. The car looks great too with new jet black paint and 18-inch M3 wheels (not those in the pictures). All of emblems have been removed for a very stark appearance. In the next few weeks, the suspension will be chrome plated. The grey interior you see in the pictures has been replaced with a custom red interior - including the dash.
