"Here are some pics of my girl with about 300K on her frame. Block replaced with new one from BMW (because it was burning oil) and engine completely rebuilt has about 50K on her. Complete new headliner, replaced leather with almost-new one found in Washington state. Complete removal of paint to bear metal; new fenders and doors and all new weather stripping and sound proofing under carpet using nothing but factory correct parts. New rims and wider Michelin Pilots; bumpers were stripped and re-annodized to factory specs; new bumper bellows and rubber trip and door trim all the way around. New front and rear glass and lots of engine compartment parts. Only non-factory item is the Nardi wheel and tires."
"If I make it to the fest in SC, I canít wait to meet you guys that have been so helpful to my 4 year restoration project. And if you have never used Leatherique, you absolutely have to use it. The leather in this car will amaze you.""This car was on display at BMW NA Headquarters in 2003, when they rolled out the new 5er. Now it has the new leather and is even more of a treat to stare at (if you are me). I am the second owner and the first owner said it was the best car he ever owned and would like to have it back. Not today."
