Cars of the Month

The Car of the Month for October 2007, Edgar the 530i pickup, belongs to:
Tim Timko

“I purchased the E12 Camino from Brett Anderson from Koala Motorsports in Newberry , Ohio . He used it as a rolling billboard and parts runner for several years. Brett purchased it from Bill Arnold (3 time Targa Newfoundland winner ) and Tamara Hull (One Lap of America driver) , in a weird car transport, switch off in Texas type story with FrankenBav going from the East coast to the West coast, and Edgar going from the West coast to Ohio.

Jonathon Bush of Senior Six Registry was one of the drivers of this '4-wheeled square-dance'. Bill Arnold purchased it in California from a man that worked for Peter Sliskovich. Beyond that point, I'm lost.

Edgar in 'original' condition

Edgar the E12 Pickup sports, euro bumpers, Getrag 265 5-speed, a really loose 3.0 liter that is sporting a ‘bundle of snakes' header and true duals ending with Dual Super Trapps; and don't forget the body kit. He's lowered approximately 2 inches on unknown springs, with Bilstein shocks.

Yep, Edgar goes like stink after I made some adjustments, and cleaned up the fuel system. He's fun to drive and great for looks. I can't believe no one wanted him when he was on eBay."
