After getting ripped off by 2 highly reputable guys and chalking up the board back to square one the problem was finally traced back to a crack in the rotor cap. m106 conversion?
just curious if this could be done. I was told that the transmission that I have on my car (5-speed getrag, unaware of the model#), could be paired with a m106 motor with minimal modification... please lmk what you guys have in mind.

Hello gents, I actually diagnosed the problem today when i got time, it turns out its the clutch fan that needs to be replaced. So great that it isnt the transmission. I guess the vibrations from the clutch fan found its way to the engine/ transmission. Thanks for the suggestions gents, all the best!
