Similiar tank and similiar tech on my e12 based e24. I recently changed all evap and pump hoses, o rings. And she still leaks when I fill up with more than 8 gallons. Middle tank seams can definitely weap even when it passed pressure check (with my lungs).

You know those ceramic like gasket/ washers that insulate both sides of the mounting bolt on L-jet injectors...

Does anyone have a theory on what purpose these gaskets serve?

With a dremel and a stick welder, Im not so capable, however.... I paid an old school mechanic to legitimize my concept. Custom brackets and a Weber choke cable! It works well.

Dont know if anyone recalls, I bought a '0 332 514 121' relay for a Fiat Spider on eBay. It seems to just crank, no start. Im trying to locate a good spare for my current functional '0 332 514 103' metal can one.

Does anyone know a modern equivalent? Is the pre-Sept '77 that much different?

I fitted a heater control valve from a 90's honda civic with associated heater hose. It fits well, controls air manually. Now I just need to run a cable through the firewall for cockpit control. pics coming soon...
