That's a good engine to have because it has the correct block mounts, and the wiring harness is very valuable because it is the only B35 harness that is a direct fit for e28/e12 conversions.
Honestly if it's a running B35, I'd drop it in as-is. All you have to do is connect about 6 wires at the ...

The engine I'm working with is from an 1989 e24. I think that was the last year of them. It says 3.5L on intake, the head, and block. I was assuming that was an M30B35. I do plan on swapping over pretty much everything from the B28 to the B35(or whatever it is).

I'm ok with figuring out the bosses ...

Starting a 3.5 swap - looking for parts

What is your actual engine temperature?

I'm not sure. I don't have a thermometer. I can tell you that the cabin heat is poor - not nearly as warm as my other vehicles. So I believe the gauge is fairly accurate.

Doing more research, it appears that there are different versions of thermostat ...

Thermostat Madness

Hi.

I'm completely confused and hoping someone has an idea to help me. Currently my car never really gets to normal operating temp. The needle hovers around the first mark. It does this in the summer and winter. So I reckoned I need a new thermostat. I bought one from FCP, popped it in and take a ...
