I felt it would be a good idea to change the sunroof gasket to see if
it could reduce wind noise. I got the old gasket off. I am working on putting the
new one on but am having difficulty (just squeezing it on with my fingers).

Will I need to remove the sliding panel (sun roof) to do this? Or, is ...

I see that the OEM bearing kits are way cheaper than original BMW kits($85)
on pelican parts. Does anyone have experience and advice about this? Are the cheaper ones ($28-35$ by FAG and SKF) just as good?

That is a good point. When I was draining the slave with gravity.
It was very slow. Sometimes not moving at all (level in reservoir not going down, fluid not coming out of drain hose) for 20 minutes.
I don't know what I did but maybe it was wiggling the drain hose or wiggling

I bled it using the gravity method. The clutch started working again.
