Baron's Fuel Issue

Team,

Since purchasing Baron, I really don't drive him far. I have noticed that fuel light flickers when car not empty, but around same time car idles worse. Did a complete tune up with new fuel filter. Also it appears even when I did run out of gas once, it only took 15 gallons?

Is this an issue of fuel pump or might I have others chime in on similar issues of course with ideas of solutions.

Thank you!

In the meantime, this darn X5 water cooled alternator will keep me busy!

Let them know about your rotor issue.
Anyone have a good distributor for Nikki?
I don't why she didn't ask. :?:
She also wants to change to an electronic ignition.
Also, and I'm not sure, but, you may only have a 16 gallon tank?
Nikki, also please post, in the 'for sale' section, that you want a good distributor, okay?
Just do it ,,it's free.

maybe it is ground issue at the sending unit connector? could it be rubbing in between the tank and trunk floor? idk, has to be electrical if its flickering the light, i am thinking. gas in the filter didnt seem rusty or anything?

15 sounds about right for a full fillup, maybe 15.3 or .4, but close. Without a pre fuel pump you can't actually run it completely dry. On the flickering light, the light is triggered by a contact in the fuel sending unit grounding, so there shouldn't be any connection between running rough and the light if it's not empty.
