lowered springs for e12

Hi everybody, i`m from Poland and i have question.
I have a bmw e12 from 1978 year. so,
lowered springs to bmw e24
BMW E24 year 06.1982 to up year
625CSi / 628CSi / 630CSi / 635CSi
is good for my bmw ? do you have any idea ?

E12 and e24 are the same basic suspensions up to 1981.

The E24s changed in 9/82 so I see no reason why that wouldn't work for you.

Is your E24 interior just like your E12? That is a good hint.
Compare the interior door handles and the heater controls.

Mayby this change are good ?
E24 springs to e12...

The E12 and the Series 1 E24 chassis (up to 9-'82) are the same!!
Good or bad depends on the condition.

The answer is: Yes
E24 springs up to 06.1982 WILL work on your e12.
As a side note, you can get e12 H&R lowering springs in German eBay. eBay.de

Hi ! I reading more information in internet. My friend from antoher board have front springs from alpina e24 from -78 year.
But i dont know how much lowered my car, mayby nothing someone have more info and life trips ?:)

could you possibly cut the first spring from the bottom to lower the car a couple of inches or so. does that seem plausible? i was thinking about doing that once i put new shocks in. feel free to give me any feedback
