Hi everyone,
I have been searching through the forum and online and I am trying to get a good understanding of what tire size would work best for a 16x8 wheel?
Thank you.

Usually 225/50/16 would work, although I'm not familiar with the offset of those wheels...

I agree with tschultz. 205/55-16 will work, but I think 225/50 is better on an 8" wheel. Both are the correct diameter

Most Ronal 16x8 wheels are ET11, which doesn't work spectacularly. 225/50 is certainly the ideal size for the wheel. A 205/55 will look a bit off on a wheel that wide. The problem is that to really fit those, you'd need to roll the rear fenders at least. Biggest interference is towards the rear of the arch where it tapers inward. Fronts will be okay unless you go up a curb at full lock.

I have 16x8 ET0 and i'm running 205/45's. I rolled all guards, the fronts are only really necessary if you're running 2-3"+ lower than stock (as wkohler said, full lock will get you).
The rolling diameter is reduced however, so the speedo is out. I'm not sure what i'll go for next time - possibly 205/55's but they might look odd on an 8" rim...
