AC Wiring part I...

Redoing my entire AC system, trying to figure out the wiring.. Will start with the simple and go to more complicated...

First, power to the compressor. There is a black wire supplying power to the compressor with a split... somewhere in there there is an diode. How is this connected? Also, I'm told to use a safety switch on the drying bottle, but not sure how to wire it..

Part two deals with the switches in the cabin and relay for heater/ac.. Has been cut out of the car, have donor relay and holder from 635.. No e12's near where I live..

Thank you for the help..
Philip.

The diode goes to the fan switch in the radiator. That way if it gets hot it doesn't turn on your compressor, but your A/C will turn on the aux fan. High side cutout in the dryer is nice, but they didn't come that way. Don't overcharge it and you'll be fine, don't worry about it.
