exhaust swap question (Bavaria manafolds)

Yes like a bad nickle I'm back!!!!! Life is full of surprises and after a job swap I need to upgrade the E12 to function as the worlds best REALTOR car!! While fun an exciting for me my nice free flow exhaust has to go.

Back story:
The thermals on my 78 530i were removed long ago for a Sthal Header with free flow exhaust. There is also a 1991 3.5L engine in her as well. The header has seen better days so it needs to be replaced and I need to quiet down the exhaust to be more "civilized". I do have a set of Bavaria manifolds sitting around, two sets I think, and was thinking of swapping them onto the car. Does anyone know what down pipes need to be used to reconnect the exhaust system to the factory center and rear mufflers?

Thanks
Merlin

Probably Bav downpipes. IIRC Bav manifolds are turned and angled slightly differently than the more common E28 manifolds, even though they appear similar and use the same gaskets. Not to mention E28 (at least 535) downpipes hit the steering linkage. I don't think Bav downpipes do, although I'm not certain. They appear to still be available but I can't say for sure. Not cheap though.

I have a 528i downpipe collecting dust in my garage, manifolds too if you need them. Not sure if the flanges are the same orientation as on the Bav.
