Have you tried cleaning yours yet? My headlamp switch was not allowing the dash lights to function(dimmer). I had no dash lights at all.
A good flush with some electric cleaner and, viola! The pull on the switch even seems more positive now. Lots of dirt and corrosion had built up and the cleaner did the trick. I used DeoxIT D5 contact cleaner & rejuvenator, purchased online at Parts Express.com. I hope this helps.
