I just did that job this spring. It took a while
because I made custom brackets for a new auxiliary fan and parallel flow condensor. I have materials for a write-up, but haven't gotten to it yet.
Given some time, I was able to see vent temperatures
in the mid to high 40s with ~100F ambient T. That's
at least as good as the R12 system and similar to the R134a performance in my other vehicle.
