Remove the curved air intake hose from the AFM and use something like a screwdriver to prop open the AFM flap. Then turn the key to the run position. You should be able to here the fuel pump running if you go to the back of the car on the passenger side. Leaving it like this for a few minutes will prime the system. Remove the screwdriver and reinstall the hose before starting.
