I don't think bad gas would be a problem if it sat only 1 year, 2 years maybe. Unless you lived in a real hot climate where evaporation would be a excessive.
Check the usual no start stuff like for fuel pressure and if there is a spark. Also, look for evidence of rodents chewing wires.
If you have fuel pressure and spark could be stuck injectors. Was it sitting outside?
