Sounds like it might not be the injectors. I would think its your Aux Cold start valve or the cold start injector. Not to mention that the cold start valve and injector are linked to one of the sensors on the thermostat housing. Sounds like it might be either of those.
I would not rule out dirty fuel and dirty plugs. To start do a complete change of tune up components and give that a try as it probably needs it regardless. Check all your grounds and clean them. Then diagnose the rest of the components Aux valve, injectors, and cold start valve and injector.
Oh and check for lose or dried and corroded wiring on the injectors.
