Hi Ryan,,,,I went to the glass shop that I thought changed the rubber at the rr window. He said the rubber looked real good. He also said that the inserted hard plastic stuff would not leak because it's inside the rubber gasket which acts like a cup and is forced out a little to make a better seal. The plastic just doesn't look good. I just pushed at the locking strip & it didn't make a cracking noise, but it's original.
We dont't remember if he used a liquid sealent or not, but he did remember that I guessed that he had a Glas automobile needing some glass work.(pun almost intended) Does anyone know the origin of the Glas?(Germany?) No one else knew the name of the car during about three months of it being there. WOOF! He also said that the front rubber on my car looked just as good as the rr! Sooo, it may not've been replaced, 'cause I can't find the receipt. Than,Again,,,Greg
