There seems to be proper power going to the two lines for the positive side of the coil (15).

Small blk wire powered my test light when I turned the key to "on" position.

Biggier blk with red wire powered test light when I went to crank engine.

It is the negative side marked (1) where I think I am having the problem.

My repair manual finally arrived at the store so I am going to go get it before I am more confused or ask meaningless questions.
