Happy 4th to all me friends with old German cars.
I've slowly been going through my electrical with the help of a meter and some people here. (Thanks Trevor!!)
I am pretty sure when I switched out the coil, the lead of the #15/positive terminal came off and hit the coil itself and fried a resistor .
I am getting good power to the coil, and the #15 terminal is fine, but when I check the #1 terminal with the meter and crank the car, the meter does not jump all over the place like it should which means the dist. rotor is not firing to the dist. cap.
Sits on around ten volts.
Where, exactly, are the ballast resistors? And where can I get one and can I by-pass it temporarily?
Thanks.....my manual comes tomorrow...
