An e12 only weighs about 250 pounds more than a Toyota Prius. Somebody pointed out to me that the batteries weigh a huge amount of the Prius weight. Now I pondered that for about two minutes... Do the batteries weigh as much 800 pounds of engine and transmission under the hood of the e12????
It's imminently possible, and a Prius is not a slouch on the road, either.
