As with lawn mowers, is there a base setting for the AFM bypass screw and the throttle body idle screw ?
My 635 ran, idled okay. I adjusted the valves, cleaned many parts in the process and as far as I know, gooped up nothing or messed up any vacuum lines, grounds, timing etc.
It starts, idles at 1200 for about 30 seconds then wants to die. Rev it it runs fine. Warmer, better.
Peter did a long AFM post on January 11, 2001, but it is very confusing to me. Loosening teeth ?
No exhaust gas analyzer, I have no idea which screw to set where to begin, or which what to turn how when to get the idle set right.
