I’m trying to find the leak(s) of my brake master cylinder. After removing the MBC and looking into the booster, I found lots of dark brown fluid inside of the bottom booster. Outside of the booster is also showing areas of rusts. Can I conclude that I have a MBC leaks through the internal seal into both inside and outside of the booster? Should I clean up inside of the booster and buy a new MBC? Confirmation and recommendations from members are needed for me to continue this task. I have a ’79 528i.
