I'll be curious to hear the steps you're taking to get 300 hp out of an M90 block (I assume you meant normally aspirated). Paul Cain is running a highly modified version of the M90 with motronic, a 3.8 liter stroker crank, custom pistons, trick top end, and is doing 280-290hp out of it I believe. You said 3.6 liters, are you planning a stroker motor?? Stock displacement out of the M90 is 3453cc.

I just rebuilt mine in the last year and although I haven't dyno'd it, I did a very nice, fairly pricey rebuild (most attention paid to the bottom end) and I would be ecstatic to be in the 225hp-230hp range. There is an extensive writeup with pictures on my webpage of the M90 rebuild I did.
