Since the rusty blue car is in the garage with the new 3.5L, i brought along the complete head from the discarded 2.8 along with the water pump/fan, then i pulled as many spare parts from my car as i could bring - belts, battery, alternator, ground straps, fuel pump etc. The head swap and all the fixing other parts took about 10 hours, a marathon! The new car was in Spokane, still a long drive but not quite as bad as that one in Calgary that you looked at for me, thanks again for that btw.
