I appreciate the attempts to help, but I think I need to clarify my problem. It's not a valve seal issue, although I should look at the plugs. I've had valve seal problems with a couple of other e12s and lived with it for a long while with one before taking the head off (for other reasons) and then replacing the seals. No, this is just a "I don't want to run until I'm warmed up" problem. It's just kind of weird. I've not seen any thing like it. I'm sure Peter Florance could diagnose it in seconds, minutes at most. Other than this, the car runs perfectly. I'm serious. This car is like the year is 1981. It looks, runs, and even smells new. This is just a weird, acute electrical or fuel / air delivery problem. It doesn't seem to be a simple cold start valve issue.
