Are you talking about converting to a different compressor? Not sure I'm following the story. Regardless, nothing in your description sounds like it wouldn't work. If you're swapping to one of the smaller wing-cell compressors, be sure you have the brackets, they are not exactly the same as the ones that the e12 came with.
