bill, here is my two cents worth. Replace the bushings first, every single one of them. I went to red plastic, even under the rear torsion bar to the chassis. Tight as new. Go HD all around then to keep like kind and quality. I have KYB's and is a little bumpy for me. But over time that will soften a bit, that I can live with. No sense in investing the money unless you also replace the bushings.
