The 4-way flasher button was wonky and missing the lens when I bought my car. If you unplug the switch you can pull it forward out of the dash. Pry it open gently with a screwdriver but be careful not to let the spring and guts go flying when you do. There's a small arm with a needle on it on one half, and a track for the needle in the other. My needle was worn down so the button wouldn't stay shut off. A bit of tweaking (bending the arm) got it sorted - no more problems.
