anybody got any good idea's. my 1980 528i has a rattle at only 2500 rpm (not higher or lower and only when passing thru 2500). it doesnt matter what gear i am in but it doesnt occur when stationary and out of gear. i have replaced both the timing and oil pump chains and this has made no difference. the rattle sounded just like a timing chain so what now ?
any good guess's would be appreciated.
