As I said.... however, my comments were in response to a rust repair question asked by Corey Rodgers about a much more common E12 5er. Every rule has it's exceptions. Body work IS a great hobby. (And and expensive one)I too have several projects. However, one must rationalize what we repair for the practice and repair because we don't value our time. When it comes to repairing structural damage on an E12 It's my learned oppinion (but you all know what they say about oppinion's)that it's time to be honest with our self's and throw in the towel. There are just too many solid examples needing simple mechanical repairs. Well here come the rebuttles....
