I couldn't agree more. It's human nature. I have done the same thing myself. I've also educated hundreds of customers on the practical limits of rust repair. Sometimes they listened, most of the time they didn't. An old freind of mine said to me one day, "You can't tell someone something their not ready to hear" My prior response to your original post was only my oppinion. Living in the rust belt I can appreciate your delemma. In this part of the country we often spend more than the cost of shipping a nice shell from another part of the country in an attempt to prolong the inevitable. It doesn't mean it's wrong, Doesn't mean we'll stop doing it. Just think things through. Use the net and the BBS. Keep the rusted driver going for a parts car. When the replacement shell arrives you'll have all the spares you'll need. Be honest with yourself. Ya DA Ya Da Ya Da.....
