Both your comments are welcome especially as although many of us have the mechanical and electrical repair experience, only the two of you seem to have a lot of body repair experience.
Which is a real issue in these rust magnets.
One thing I can suggest is any time you are under the car look for breaks in the undercoating especially the wheel wells. I started doing that after my floor pan rusted out almost 10 years ago and I believe I prevented my shock towers from suffering the same fate on more than one occasion.
