You can also try vegetable oil or baby oil AKA mineral oil. I know it sounds strange but the oil should break down the polymers and resons (sp?) in the sap and especailly in any industrial goop from the OPEC producing nations ;-)
Then follow with a good body shampoo,
1.Dawn...cuts grease and paint
2.joy...lemon yellow adds HP
3.Zymol...Buffy dear where's my ascot?
4.Auto Glym...this is my favorite, works real well
Pick accordingly based on budget and dedication to something that only looks to drain your wallet every damn chance it gets... Oh wait I'm sorry wrong gal ;-)
