Try the local Auto Body Supply. They sell solvents designed to strip those nasty polymer waxs that are sold on the infomercials. I believe one brand name is Poly Cracker. They are all a pre-prep solvent based product designed to strip all wax,road grime,tree sap,ect., prior to refinish.
